Dr. Christopher deGraauw, Chiropractor, Sports Specialist
Dr. Chris deGraauw has been the owner and operator of Duffins Creek Health Centre since 1998. He also co-directs Durham Sports Centres, the branch of the health centre which services the athletes of Durham for the Ontario Soccer Association. Raised in Pickering, Dr. Chris deGraauw was competitive at both the national and international level in flatwater canoe paddling and dragonboat. His commitment to sports led him to complete his postgraduate residency and attain a Chiropractic Sports Specialist designation in 2003. As a fellow of the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences Dr. deGraauw is chair of the Fellowship committee, director of examinations and is a vice president of the Board. Dr. deGraauw continues his work at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as an Assistant professor. Dr. deGraauw also uses acupuncture as an adjunct to chiropractic therapies in treatment. He continues to enjoy golf, tennis, paddling, and cross country skiing with his wife Lara, and their three children. |

Dr. Lara deGraauw,
Chiropractor, Sports Specialist
Dr. Lara deGraauw is the co-director of Durham Sports Centres with her husband Chris. After completing a bachelor of science in biochemistry and nutrition at the University of Ottawa, Dr. deGraauw attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic and graduated in 1997. She became a fellow of the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences in 2003. Dr. deGraauw is also enjoys her position as Assistant Professor at the chiropractic college working with interns in their final year. She resides in Claremont with her husband and three children, keeping up in tennis and cross country skiing. |

Dr. Brad Muir,
Chiropractor, Sports Specialist
Dr. Brad Muir graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1992 with an honours bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology. During the seven years working as a kinesiologist he also attained a diploma in acupuncture. Dr. Muir attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College graduating in 2003. He continued on at the chiropractic college completing his Sports Sciences Residency, attaining his Sports Specialist Designation in 2006.
Dr. Muir is currently an Assistant Professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College when he's not in Duffins Creek Health Centre. Dr. Muir is also the co-author and presenter of Running and Hockey Biodynamics and has lectured across Canada.
Dr. Muir is a first-degree black belt in Jiu Jitsu and enjoys golf, hockey and snowshoeing in his spare time. |

Caroline White,
Registered Massage Therapist
Caroline White graduated form the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1999 and has been practicing at Duffins Creek Health Centre since 2000. She is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and continues to learn new techniques such as Myofascial Release and Cranial Sacral herapy to incorporate into her practice, providing clients with additional treatment options. |

Sonya deBruin,
Registered Massage Therapist
Sonya deBruin has been practicing massage therapy since graduating from Sir Sanford Fleming College in 1999. Throughout her career she has focused her attentions on providing a balance of both clinical and personal relaxation treatments. Since becoming a massage therapist she has continued her education and widened her scope of practice by completing courses in manual lymph drainage, ultrasound and ear candling. In her free time she enjoys playing volleyball and along with her husband loves spending time camping, swimming and playing with their 3 children. |

Jackie Richardson, Registered Massage Therapist
Jackie Richardson grew up in Durham Region and continues to play an active part in the community. Jackie spent many years working in the corporate sector before deciding to change her career path and follow her passion for natural therapy. A graduate of Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School, Jackie continues to witness the tremendous healing massage therapy provides. She believes in finding the cause of dysfunction through her intuitive touch and treating it. Her reputation of firm pressure follows her from clinics in Durham to Duffins Creek Health Centre. Jackie focuses her treatments on specific areas to provide therapeutic care while incorporating it into a nice, relaxing massage. She enjoys many different hobbies but at the top of her list is hiking with her golden retriever in Durham Forest and Greenwood Conservation Area. |

Yolanda Strzelec,
Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Yolanda Strzelec ND focuses on prevention, identifying root causes of illness and combining modern approaches with the wisdom of traditional healing methods for complete mind and body health. Treatment includes nutrition, herbs, acupuncture, classical homeopathy, counselling, organ drainage, and Certified Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. After completing a nutrition degree and obtaining clinical and research experience at the Hospital for Sick Children and Toronto General Hospital, she completed post-graduate medical education at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (2005). She is currently practicing at Duffins Creek Health Centre, King West Chiropractic Clinic, The Herbal Clinic and Dispensary and teaches at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.

Bill Hsu,
Radiologist
Dr. William Hsu, Chiropractor: Dr. William Hsu has been a chiropractic radiologist serving chiropractors and educating students since 1995. He is passionate about radiology and regularly attends post-graduating seminars to update and enhance his radiological expertise. He has a particular interest in advanced imaging of sport related injuries. He has been a member of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology and College of Chiropractic Radiologists of Canada (CCRC) and has served as president of the CCRC from 2002-2006. He has published radiological articles on sport related injuries and coauthored a chapter on imaging in a chiropractic textbook. Dr. Hsu has lectured to chiropractors across Canada on musculoskeletal imaging from plain films to CT and MRI. He has served as adviser to Fellowship examination boards of College Chiropractic Sciences and College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences. As a faculty radiologist, Dr. Hsu has helped trained residents at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. |

Tania Pringle,
Radiologist
Dr. Tania Pringle is an enthusiastic chiropractic radiologist who has owned her own private film-reading practice and has taught at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College since 2005. Born and raised in Ottawa; she grew up in a very active family involved in competitive tennis, soccer, field hockey and Nordic skiing. After attending McMaster University for degrees in Physical Education and Gerontology she became interested in chiropractic and worked in a clinic in Kingston. Accepted into CMCC in 1998, she quickly became interested in orthopaedics and radiology and went on to do the residency program. Currently she is an Assistant professor and Chairperson of the department of Imaging at CMCC and a very proud Mom. She also enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle with her family, participating in swimming, mountain biking, hiking and cross-country skiing. |
